- 2 tablespoons brown sugar light or dark
- 1 tablespoon paprika sweet or smoked
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt fine sea salt or table salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground preferred
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
Add all ingredients to a small mixing bowl.
Whisk together thoroughly until well combined and no clumps remain.
Transfer the seasoning blend to a glass jar with a tight-sealing lid.
Label the jar with the name and date.
Store in a cool, dark cupboard away from heat and light.
To Use:
Pat chicken completely dry with paper towels.
