Campfire S'mores Pizza
This easy Campfire S'mores Pizza combines crispy flour tortillas, chocolate spread, graham crackers, Hershey's chocolate, and gooey marshmallows in a foil packet for a fun camping dessert ready in 25 minutes.
Ingredients
Pizza Base & Toppings
- 4 large flour tortillas 9 1/2 inch
- 2/3 cup Nutella or chocolate spread
- 1 sleeve graham crackers broken into rough bite-sized pieces
- 12 snack-size bars Hershey's bars broken into smaller pieces
- 4 cups mini marshmallows approximately 1 cup per pizza
Instructions
- Build a campfire and let the wood burn down until you have a steady bed of glowing red-hot coals. Place a stable metal cooking grate over the coals.
- Prepare a flat workstation and tear off two large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil per pizza. Place one tortilla in the center of the foil.
- Spread about 2 1/2 tablespoons of chocolate spread over the center of each tortilla, leaving a small plain border around the edge.
- Scatter broken graham crackers over the chocolate spread and gently press them in. Add three snack-size Hershey's bars, broken into pieces, to each tortilla.
- Top each pizza with about 1 cup of mini marshmallows, distributing them evenly. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
- Place the foil-lined pizzas on the warm campfire grate. Cover each pizza with a separate larger piece of foil shaped into a loose dome or tent to trap heat and melt the toppings.
- Cook for about 4 to 6 minutes, rotating carefully halfway through for even browning. Check that the chocolate is glossy and the marshmallows are puffy and melted.
- Remove the pizzas from the heat with tongs and let them rest for 1 minute. Slice into wedges with a pizza cutter and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve immediately for the best texture. Avoid tall flames and cook over glowing embers to prevent burning. For indoor cooking, bake the tented foil packets at 400°F for about 5 minutes.
